Dental Implants Available
If you have a missing tooth, we can use a dental crown and a dental implant together to make a fully natural-looking replacement. Our skilled team will lead you through the implant procedure, making sure to achieve the best results.
Dental Bridges
A dental bridge is a great option for replacing missing teeth and avoiding the effects of tooth loss. By using your natural tooth structure, a fixed bridge can help maintain and improve your oral health. In the absence of a bridge, you might encounter bone loss, tooth movement, and a higher chance of dental issues. If your situation calls for a bridge, we will review all available choices with you to achieve the optimal result for your smile.
The Dental Crown Process
Digital Impressions
Say goodbye to the discomfort and mess of traditional dental impressions. We utilize advanced 3D digital impression technology to capture a precise, detailed map of your tooth. This process is quick, accurate, and eliminates the need for those gooey, gag-inducing impression materials. With digital impressions, we can ensure a perfect fit for your new crown, all while keeping you comfortable throughout the process.
Custom Design
Once we have your digital impression, our skilled team of dental professionals gets to work custom-designing your crown right here in our office. Using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software, we carefully craft your crown to match the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth. This attention to detail ensures that your new crown blends seamlessly with your smile, providing both a precise fit and a natural appearance. You can trust that your custom-designed crown will enhance your smile and restore your tooth's function.
Milling Process
With your crown design complete, it's time to bring it to life. Our office is equipped with the innovative CEREC machine, which mills your crown from a high-quality ceramic block. This process takes place while you wait comfortably in our office, eliminating the need for temporary crowns and multiple visits. The ceramic material used in the milling process is known for its durability, strength, and aesthetic properties, ensuring that your new crown will withstand the test of time and provide you with a beautiful, natural-looking smile.
Immediate Placement
One of the most significant advantages of CEREC same-day crowns is the convenience it offers our patients. Once your crown is milled and polished to perfection, we can place it on your tooth during the same appointment. This means you can walk out of our office with a fully restored, functional, and attractive smile in just one visit. No more waiting for weeks with temporary crowns or scheduling multiple appointments. With CEREC technology, we streamline the process, saving you valuable time and hassle while delivering exceptional results.
FAQs

Proper maintenance and care can lead to dental crowns lasting 10 to 15 years or longer. The lifespan of your crown is influenced by factors like your oral hygiene practices, diet, and the position of the crowned tooth. Routine dental exams and a solid home care regimen can contribute to prolonging the lifespan of your restoration.
Receiving a crown isn't a painful experience. Our practice prioritizes your comfort and clear communication, ensuring that you are well-informed about the crown procedure at every stage. Although some enamel needs to be removed from the damaged tooth to correctly place the crown, this is done after administering a local anesthetic, so you won't feel any discomfort.
A dental bridge, also referred to as a tooth bridge, is a dental restoration that is attached to your jaw using your own teeth and anchoring dental crowns. It functions as its name suggests, by bridging gaps in your smile! Bridges replace one or more missing teeth and offer the wearer security and safety. A fixed dental bridge consists of two dental crowns on each end with one or more false teeth in between. These crowns are fixed to the two healthy anchor teeth on each side, thus bridging the gap left by the missing teeth.
In the traditional crown procedure, the dentist makes a mold, grinds down the tooth, and prepares it for a crown. The patient goes home with a temporary cap while the mold is sent to a lab, where a technician carves a crown. When the patient returns, the temporary tooth is removed and the crown is placed. This means two trips to the dentist! With the Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics (CEREC®) crown procedure, a 3D digital photograph of the tooth is taken, and a state-of-the-art computer program is used to design the crown.
Your new crown is crafted from a block of porcelain right here in our office! Using a three-dimensional, diamond-tipped miller, we can place the crown in just ninety minutes! A CEREC® crown helps reduce pain, sensitivity, and bacterial leakage that often occur with traditional temporary caps.
Crowns are frequently utilized to repair cracked or damaged teeth; however, their application is not limited to this. They can also address teeth with decay that cannot be sufficiently treated with a regular filling. Moreover, a crown can safeguard a tooth after a root canal or be employed for aesthetic purposes. In addition to enhancing the appearance of cracked or broken teeth, they can also improve the aesthetics of small or misshapen teeth. Furthermore, they can serve as an anchor for a dental bridge, adding further cosmetic and aesthetic uniformity to your smile and enhancing your confidence.
You might be asking yourself why a fixed bridge is beneficial. How does it contribute to your overall health? The answer is straightforward: a fixed bridge utilizes the existing natural tooth structure of the patient to improve and reinforce what is already present. This is why we frequently recommend dental bridges; it’s a boost! It signifies that your mouth already possesses the framework necessary to support its own recovery! All we need to do is assist it with a dental bridge.
Without the additional support provided by bridges, your jaw could experience bone loss, your remaining teeth could shift, and you could be susceptible to various dental issues. While dental bridges may not always be essential, if your situation warrants it, we will discuss all options with you.
