Accelerated Healing

Our dental professionals will surgically attach titanium posts to your jawbone. These are placed in strategic positions to provide the stability and biting force you need with your new teeth while continuing to stimulate a healthy jawbone. We then give your mouth time to heal and your jawbone a chance to fuse with the implants.

Once you come in for your follow-up appointment, we make sure your jaw is ready by using our Periotest® technology. This handheld device is used to measure the integration of titanium and bone, enabling us to determine implant stability and denture viability.

Then, we place a specifically designed denture that revitalizes your smile and boosts your self-confidence. We offer both permanent dentures, which provide a hassle-free, structurally sound support system, and removable dentures, which snap on to your titanium implants and provide similar support, but are also easy to remove, clean, and reattach.

Our guidance and care don’t end when the denture is placed! We also offer technology that can improve healing and make the aftercare process a breeze. Our Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) treatment uses a sample of your blood and separates the platelets in a centrifuge, re-adding them to your surgical sites for a faster, cleaner healing process.

Am I A Candidate?
A good candidate for implant-supported dentures will have healthy gums and sufficient bone structure to support the implants. At Peninsula Center of Cosmetic Dentistry, we can help you become a good candidate if you aren’t one right now.
We will use our CT scanner to determine if your jawbone can support the denture implants. If your jaw lacks a solid bone structure, we can perform bone grafts and/or sinus lifts in order to get your jaw ready for implant dentures.
Regardless of your situation, we urge you to contact our office today to learn more about implant dentures, restorative dentistry, and All-On-4® dental implants.
